FUE Sapphire Method Hair Transplant Results After 2 Months

Using micro incisions created at an angle made by a Sapphire blade, the FUE Sapphire method is a precise procedure wherein each individual hair follicle, that was extracted from the donor area, is inserted into the micro incisions. This method is usually used in extreme cases of balding or total balding. It also leaves little to no visible scarring.

Hair transplant results after 2 months is essentially a healing period. Due to the many tiny incisions being made into the scalp, the skin is considered injured and has been through trauma. This will cause the first few days after surgery to be uncomfortable around the operated area.

For the best hair transplant results after 2 months, you will need to follow care instructions that include washing the hair and taking hair vitamins, patients may find that there are hairs falling out of their heads. This is completely normal, as the scalp has gone through trauma, this is a natural response. After a while, these hair follicles will heal and restore themselves so it is no cause for concern!

Towards the end of the second month is when the hair growth period starts, this may vary from patient to patient and may take up to 4 months for the results to start appearing. The hairs will be very light, thin and soft at first. This is not how it will be permanently however, as time passes the hair will grow more and become thicker.

On top of the area that the procedure has been done on, the donor area also goes through a healing process. This process is very swift and the donor area starts regrowing hair within a week of the transplant being done.

Female HT

DHI Method

With the use of the Ideal Choi Implanter, the DHI method is a fast and simple process to transplant hair. It follows identical steps for preparation as the FUE method in terms of extraction for the donor area, but the actual implanting process is done with a machine that does not damage the area of the implant as much. This method is commonly used for patients that would like to fill up thinning hair.

Shock loss occurs during the healing process, from about 3 weeks after the initial procedure has been done the hair follicles may start falling out due to the trauma sustained by the skin during the procedure. This is normal and is no cause for alarm, the follicles will start growing normally in time. When looking at hair transplant results after 2 months you can expect hair follicles that fall out after the initial shock loss period, starting at about 2 months will gradually grow again as well.

Hair Growth typically starts to become visible towards the end of the second month, when the hairs will be thin and very soft and almost baby-like.

How to Care for the Transplanted and Donor Areas

After either of the procedures has been completed, you must take great care of your hair and wash it very gently and carefully for 10 days. With IdealofMed, after one day of rest from the procedure, you will be taken to the hospital once more to remove the bandages and have a check-up session and answer any questions you may have as well. Alongside this, we will wash your hair and record a video whilst doing so to explain in detail how to do so on your own.

After 14 days following the procedure, you will be able to continue your regular hair washing routine as normal. Following all of these will ensure the optimal hair transplant results after 2 months.

Things to Avoid While Recovering From the Hair Transplant

Looking at your hair transplant results after 2 months, you will be in the recovery phase so it’s important to take careful care when it comes to promoting a speedy recovery and success with your hair transplant. It is advised that you do not participate in intensive activities to avoid sweating a lot for at least the first three weeks after the procedure has been done, this may cause setbacks in the healing process.

Swimming is also something to avoid as saltwater and chlorine may damage the cells that have been transplanted. Smoking and the use of alcohol are also detrimental to the healing process and may cause the healing to take longer than intended. We also suggest that you avoid direct sunlight on the areas that were operated on.

A good way to promote a speedy recovery is to get enough sleep and eat healthy as this will promote healing. You can affect your hair transplant results after 2 months but not avoiding any of the above mentioned things.

Things to Know About Hair Transplant Procedures

With both of the above-mentioned hair transplant methods, there are a few things to remember before wondering about your hair transplant results after 2 months, one of which is that the doctors performing the procedures are highly trained and are professionals in the field. This is highly important as both of the procedures require skill and knowledge to be performed effectively, so you can rest assured knowing that you are in the hands of qualified professionals!

When it comes to the actual procedure’s results, it may take a couple of months before any solid results start to appear. Hair growth usually starts from the end of the second month towards the fourth month and may not be what you expected. As the follicles heal properly, the hair will start becoming darker and thicker, where they are soft and thin in the beginning.

Who Should Consider Hair Transplant Surgery?

Men and Women of any age may get hair transplant surgery, though for individuals younger than 30 you may want to consider hair loss medications. In the case that the medication may not be working as intended or at all, hair transplant surgeries may be considered.

There are many reasons for hair loss to occur, from stress and trauma to simply losing hair as you age. It is natural and part of life, hair transplant surgery is a big step and may oftentimes be a life-changing procedure as many cosmetic surgeries are.

Tips for Post-procedure Care

When it comes to making the most of your hair transplant results after 2 months and ensuring that it is a complete success, there are many things to keep in mind. Here we’ve made a list of tips to aid you in the recovery process and through the journey of growing the best you!

  • Get enough rest. Resting is super beneficial to the body when recovering from being sick as well as promoting the healing of injuries. As your scalp has been damaged, you need to give your body a chance to recover.
  • Avoid nicotine and alcohol. Nicotine and alcohol hinder the healing process, alcohol thins the blood and nicotine has numerous effects on blood flow and pressure. We suggest avoiding alcohol for at least five days after the procedure and to avoid nicotine for four weeks before and after the procedure to increase the healing times.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight. Direct sunlight will cause sweating and irritation on the operated area, this may lead to itching which can make you uncomfortable and cause you to scratch scabs and delay the healing process.
  • Do not wear any type of headwear. Although you may want to put on a hat, we want you to avoid this for the first five days as chafing caused by a hat may damage the scalp and hinder the healing process. After five days you may wear a loose-fitting hat if desired and after about 7 days you may wear any type of headwear you desire.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise. As with avoiding direct sunlight, this may cause sweating and irritation and can lead to scratching of the scalp which can prolong the healing process. On top of the itching, strenuous exercises may also increase blood flow to the scalp which should be avoided as much as possible.
